ORDER

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner for a mandamus directing the respondent to provide notional promotion and to refix the pension on par with his juniors.

2.Mr.A.Kannan, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice on behalf of the sole respondent, objected this petition on the ground that though a representation was said to have made by the petitioner in the year 2013, there is no acknowledgment for the same. If any representation is pending, they would consider and pass appropriate orders, however, in the absence of any representation, there cannot be any mandamus.

3.In view of the aforesaid submission and considering the limited relief sought for, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the respondent, through registered post, within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
