ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 30.01.2025, seeking reclassification of land comprised in Town Survey No.135, Rajapalayam Town, from "Sarkar Poramboke" to private land and consequently, to issue patta in favour of the petitioner and her siblings within a time stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard the arguments of Mr.Y.Prakash, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this

Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.According to the petitioner, the subject property belongs to her family and the same has been in possession and enjoyment of petitioner and her siblings. After death of the petitioner's father, the subject property is wrongly classified as Sarkar Poramboke" in the revenue records. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation on 30.01.2025, seeking reclassification of the land and issuance of patta. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that based on the representation submitted by the petitioner, the second respondent called for the report from the third respondent in his proceedings in e.f.M1/416/2025> dated 27.02.2025.

5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to submit a report

before the second respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The second respondent shall consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.01.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a further period of twelve weeks, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
