ORDER

The petitioner with a grievance that there is a mistake in the patta in respect of the measurement of the property has filed this writ petition for a direction to the respondents to rectify the mistake.

2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's wife has purchased the property by way of a registered sale deed dated 31.03.1984 to an extent of 3888 Sq.Ft and she has executed a settlement deed in his favour. However, the revenue officials issued patta only for an extent of 3228 Sq.Ft. Therefore he has made representations dated 28.12.1991 and 19.01.2023 to the respondents. However, they were not considered by the respondents.

3.The Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent bank submits that enquiry is pending in respect of the petitioner's request.

4.The petitioner claims that he has submitted a representation even in the year 1991 and on 29.01.20223, which according to the respondents are under enquiry. Therefore, the respondents conclude the enquiry and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. No costs.
