O R D E R
Heard the learned counsel for the revision petitioners. Issuance of notice to the respondents is dispensed with.
2. The revision petitioners are figuring as defendants in O.S.No.367 of 2021 on the file of the 6th Additional District Judge, Madurai. It is a suit for partition. The petitioners seek speedy disposal of the suit. In normal circumstances, I would be reluctant to issue direction. This is because, I am not appraised of the work load of the court below. The petitioner's counsel states that the first petitioner against whom the suit has been primarily directed is aged about 85 years. The senior citizen suits are entitled to preferential treatment. I therefore direct the court below to dispose of O.S.No.367 of 2021 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3. The civil revision petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. 25.09.2024 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No rmi 2/4
