:Respondents Prayer:Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioner as Staff Nurse at V.O.C., Tuticorin Port Trust Hospital, Tuticorin, taking into consideration of the length of service rendered by the petitioner within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a direction to the respondents to regularize the service of the petitioner as Staff Nurse at V.O.C., Tuticorin Port Trust Hospital, Tuticorin, taking into consideration of the length of service rendered by the petitioner. 2.The case of the petitioner is that initially she was appointed as Nurse on contractual basis at V.O.C Port Trust Hospital, Tuticorin in the year 2006. Though the petitioner has rendered 12 years of service in the respondents hospital, her service was not regularized. Hence, the petitioner has made a representation, dated 25.03.2017 to the second respondent. Since no order has been taken, the present writ petition is filed. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.03.2017 in accordance with law.

W.P.(MD)No.5725 of 2017 4.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents has no serious objection for considering the petitioner's representation.

5.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.03.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not disposed of already.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
