Mr.S.Kameswaran, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents.
2.The husband of the petitioner, by name Rangaraj and his brother Govindharaj had purchased a property in S.F.Nos.110/2 and 109/3 measuring 2.70.5 (6 acres 68 cents) and 0.48.0 (1 acre and
19) hectares at Kaduveli, Thiruvaiyaru Taluk, Thanjavur District. They had purchased the same by registered sale deeds on 21.08.1989 and 15.11.1989. It is stated that the brother of the husband, Govindharaj, died as a bachelor on 01.11.1992. The husband of the petitioner was the sole legal heir/clause 2 legal heir. The husband of the petitioner also died on 07.10.2020. Now the petitioner seeks patta in her name. She is also blessed with two daughters and two sons. She had given a representation on 19.11.2021.

W.P.(MD) No.22181 of 2021 3.It would only be appropriate that the petitioner makes an online application for patta and also pays necessary charges in accordance with the rules. On receipt of such online application and also the necessary charges, the second respondent/Tahsildar may take a considered decision, issue notice to the petitioner and examine the records of the petitioner and thereafter proceed to do the needful. It is directed that the Tahsildar should dispose of the application within a period of twelve weeks from the date when it had been filed by the petitioner.
4.With the above observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
