ORDER

The instant Writ Petition has been filed by the Head of Department of History Department in 5th respondent's college seeking mandamus to implement the G.O.(MS).No.61 dated 08.03.2023 and for payment of arrears of salary for the period between 2012 and 2015.

2. Seeking the above said benefits, the petitioner has sent a representation on 07.02.2024 to the 5th respondent herein. Since the said representation has not been considered so far, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 2/5

Considering the above said facts, the 5th respondent herein is directed to consider the representation of the writ petitioner in the light of G.O.(MS).No. 61 Higher Education (H1) Department dated 08.03.2023 and pass orders on merits in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petitions stands disposed of.
