ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to remove the Electricity Pole erected in Petitioner's land in S.No.30/2D, Nagatchi Village, Ramanathapuram, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 29.05.2025.

2. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioner has failed to implead the competent authority, namely, the Assistant Engineer, Uchipuli, Ramanathapuram District.

3. Therefore, the Assistant Engineer, Uchipuli, Ramanathapuram District is suo motu impleaded as the fourth respondent. Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendments in the cause title.

4. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioner's representation dated 29.05.2025 for shifting the electricity pole erected on the petitioner's patta land will be considered and disposed of on merits and in accordance with law by the fourth respondent.

5. Recording the above submission, the writ petition stands disposed of by directing the fourth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.05.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
