The Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to issue patta to the Petitioner's property in Old Survey T.S.NO.3083/1 and 3084/2, T.S.Ward 4, Block 31, New Survey T.S.Ward AV, Block 59, Town Survey No.21, measuring 46.30 sq.ft situated at Melapalayam Municipal, Tirunelveli City by considering the Petitioner's representation, dated 31.7.2025. 2.Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.The Petitioner claims that he purchased the subject property under sale deed, dated 4.3.2017 from one S.K.Samsudeen. Based on the sale deed, the Petitioner submitted a representation before the respondent seeking issuance of patta in his name. The same has not been considered so far. Hence the Petitioner is before this Court with the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra. 4.Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondent, would submit that the representation submitted by the Petitioner will be considered on its own merits, within the time stipulated by this Court. 2/5

5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider representation of the Petitioner, dated 31.7.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits after affording adequate opportunity to the Petitioner, within a further period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
