O R D E R

The Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to conduct survey of the property in Survey No. 154/1, situated at 03.Karukkakottai Villge, Orathanadu Taluk, Thanjavur District by considering the online application of the Petitioner, dated 16.7.2025.

2.Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the Petitioner, the subject property was originally owned by her husband. He executed a settlement deed on 24.7.2025 in favour of the Petitioner. Patta for the subject property stands in the name of Petitioner in Patta No.1736. The Petitioner submitted an application through online on 16.7.2025 in 2/5

Application No.2025/0123/21/009982 seeking survey of the subject property. The said application has not been considered till date. Hence the Petitioner has come before this Court with the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra. 4.Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that online application submitted by the petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court. 5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to consider the online application of the Petitioner, dated 16.7.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits after issuing notice to the Petitioner, neighbouring land owners and other interested parties, if any, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of a copy of this order.

6.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
