The writ petition had been filed in the nature of a mandamus seeking ordinary leave for a period of 30 days for the brother of the petitioner, T.Pandeeswaran, Convict Prisoner No.1191, who is now confined at Central Prison, Madurai. A representation was given on 31.08.2024.
2. Mr.A.Thiruvadi Kumar, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor forwarded the proceedings dated 09.09.2024 in No.E330978/jF.2/2024 passed by the first respondent, Deputy Inspector General of Prisons, Madurai Range, Madurai, by which proceedings, the representation of the petitioner had been rejected.
3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner stated that permission may be granted to question the said proceedings by way of further writ petition.
4. This Writ Petition stands closed with liberty to file a fresh petition in accordance with law.
