ORDER

The petitioner has lodged a complaint dated 25.06.2025 that one Mariappan has received a sum of Rs.1,40,00,000/- for a business transaction and thereafter, he failed to repay the same. The petitioner has filed this petition that the said complaint has not been addressed by the respondent Police.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submits that based on the complaint of the petitioner, an enquiry has been conducted and it was closed, on 16.08.2025. 2/4

3.Recording the above submission, this writ petition is closed with a direction to the respondent Police to furnish a copy of the closure report to the petitioner enabling him to workout his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
