O R D E R This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the learned Sessions Judge Mahila Court, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari to dispose of S.C.No. 3 of 2020, as expeditiously as possible, within a time frame. 2.It is submitted by the learned Counsel for the petitioner representing the de-facto complainant, who is the father of the victim that in spite of the fact that the matter was ripe for trial, without any reason, the matter is adjourned from time to time, therefore, sought for suitable directions.
3.As per the B-diary filed, on 23.06.2022 charges have been framed against the accused. Once the charges have been framed, schedule of the trial should have been fixed by the Court. 4.Considering the circumstances explained by learned Counsel for the petitioner and also after hearing the Government Advocate [Crl. Side] who has assured the Court that the police will produce the witnesses as directed by the trial Court, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, directing the learned Magistrate to fix the trial schedule and proceed with 2/4
the trial as expeditiously as possible and dispose of the same, not later than eight [8] months.
