PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 herein, to disburse the petitioner's monthly duty salary, which is long pending before the Sub Treasury Office, Nanguneri, on the basis of his representation made before them dated 14.11.2016. This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 herein to disburse the petitioner's monthly duty salary, for the period from 01.05.2014 to 17.12.2014 and from 01.01.2015 to 05.11.2015, which is a long pending before the Sub Treasury Office, Nanguneri, on the basis of the representation submitted by the petitioner on 14.11.2016.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner sent a representation on 14.11.2016 to the respondents with regard to non-disbursement of monthly salary.
3. In response, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that except leave salary, the petitioner was paid his salary.
4. In view of the rival submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, this Court directs the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 14.11.2016 regarding disbursement of salary. The respondents are directed to disburse the salary as per the entitlement of the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
