ORDER
The petitioner has filed this petition seeking a direction to the respondent Police to take action as against the third respondent. 2.The petitioner claims that he has lodged a complaint as against the third respondent, who is the Sub-Inspector of Police. Instead of taking action as against him, a case has been registered as against the petitioner in Cr.No.164 of 2025 for the offence under Sections 296(b), 191(2), 191(3), 118(1) and 351(3) BNS.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 submits that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Cr.No.165 of 2025 has been registered for the offence under Sections 296(b), 351(3), 118(1) BNS. 2/4
4.Since it is reported that based on the complaints lodged by the petitioner and the third respondent a case and counter case has been registered, this writ petition is closed with a direction to the respondent Police to conduct a proper investigation in both cases and find out who is the aggressor, as contemplated under Clause 566 of the Police Standing Orders. No costs.
