ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 of BNSS, seeking orders, to direct the respondent Police to file a 1/4

final report in Crime No.433 of 2023, dated 29.05.2023 within the time as fixed by this Court.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.433 of 2023, dated 29.05.2023 for the offence under Sections 457 and 380 of IPC against the unknown accused. He would further submit that they have examined five witnesses and that the investigation is pending. Hence, he seeks three months time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.433 of 2023 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
