Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the proceedings of the Commissioner, Thoothukudi City, Municipal Corporation, Thoothukudi, the third respondent herein made in his office Na.Ka.No.E2/4035/2022 dated 12.12.2022, quash the same and direct the respondents herein that the petitioner is deemed to have been promoted to the post of Assistant Executive Engineer on par with his immediate junior which has been withheld on account of impugned penalty and disburse all the consequential attendant, service and monetary benefits with due seniority and continuity of service. ORDER
The instant writ petition has been filed by an Assistant Engineer, challenging the order of initiation of disciplinary proceedings issued by the third respondent and its consequential penalty of stoppage of increment without cumulative effect for a period of two years.
2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this Writ Petition and he has also made an endorsement to the effect.

3. In view of the submission and the endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
