ORDER
This Writ Petition is taken up for hearing at the time of admission with the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 1 and 2 and after dispensing with the notice on the third respondent as no adverse orders are proposed to be passed against him.

This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.04.2024 and replace the electricity supply line in the house, which stands in the name of the petitioner's husband in S.No. 128/008/353 and further, transfer S.C.No. 124/034/132 from the third respondent's name to the petitioner's husband.
3. It is submitted that the petitioner's husband Late.Kalimuthu, who died on 2/6
09.09.2015 had earlier married one Pounammal, who died on 02.05.1985. After her death, the petitioner's husband married the petitioner on 09.02.1987. Hence, the petitioner claims to be the second wife of Late.Kalimuthu.

It is submitted that the third respondent, who is the elder son of the deceased Pounammal through the petitioner's husband, has now managed to get the power connection standing in the name of the petitioner's husband as also the father of the third respondent to his name without any notice to the petitioner.
5. In this connection, the learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn attention to a copy of the Legal Heir Certificate issued by the Tahsildar, Kandharvakottai on 18.03.2016.
6. That apart, it is submitted that the petitioner has also filed O.S.No.68 of 2023 on the file of the Additional Sub Court, Pudukottai for partition of the joint family property. It is submitted that without awaiting the result in O.S.No.68 of 2023, the third respondent has managed to change the power connection in his name and therefore, it has to be restored back to the name of the deceased Late.Kalimuthu, who was the original allottee to the EB connection. 3/6
7. The petitioner appears to have given a representation, dated 18.06.2018, 06.12.2023 and 03.04.2024. However, these representations have not evaded any response from the official respondents.
8. Considering the same, this Writ Petition is disposed by directing the second respondent to consider the aforesaid representations of the petitioner and dispose of the same in accordance with law.
9. Needless to state, the third respondent shall also be heard before the final orders are passed. Since the other legal heirs of the Late.Kalimuthu are appropriated, notice may be issued to the other legal heirs of Late.Kalimuthu.
