RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to extend the time to comply the conditions in Crl.OP.(MD).No.7778 of 2020 by order dated 27.07.2020 in Cr.No.502 of 2020 on the file of Respondent Police.

Order :This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.SURESHKUMAR.R, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.M.VAIKKAM KARUNANITHI, GOVT. ADVOCATE (CRIMINAL SIDE) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time limit of the petitioner to surrender before the concerned Magistrate Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks time to produce sureties. Due to Covid-19 pandemic situation the learned Judicial Magistrate has returned the papers, the petitioner is unable to execute sureties with in the stipulated time as per the order of Crl.O.P(MD) No.7778 of 2020 dated 27.07.2020.

3. The reasons assigned in the petition is not acceptable one. But, considering the offence alleged against the petitioner, time granted by this Court vide order dated 27.07.2020 in Crl.O.P(MD) No.7778 of 2020 is extended further for a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
