PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to direct the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge (Special Court for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989), Madurai District to accept the surrender of the Petitioner and to consider the Petitioner's bail application and grant bail on the date of surrender itself in Cr.No.311 of 2022 on the file of the first Respondent.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge (Special Court for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989), Madurai District to accept the surrender of the Petitioner and to consider the Petitioner's bail application and grant bail on the date of surrender itself in Cr.No.311 of 2022 on the file of the first Respondent.

2.Heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the Respondents 1 and 2.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the Petitioner is arrayed as A4. The Petitioner has one previous case. 4.Considering the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the Petitioner is directed to surrender within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order or from the date of uploading this order in the website of this Court before the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge (Special 2/4

Court for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989), Madurai District. On such surrender and on filing of bail application by the Petitioner herein, the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge (Special Court for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989), Madurai District, shall consider the bail application and pass appropriate orders as per law.
