ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents. 2.The petitioner wants certain provisions of basic amenities in the petition mentioned land. He has given a representation in this regard on 23.02.2017. Provision of basic amenities necessarily involves financial implications. Therefore, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.6307 of 2017 this Court will not be justified in straight away issuing a positive direction. It is for the authority to take action. It is also not known whether the petitioner's land is located in an approved layout.

3. It appears that the land in question is not situated within the Kodaikanal limits and it appears to be within the limit of Vilpatty Village. Therefore, the local authority of Vilpatty Village has to take action in this regard. The petitioner is at liberty to move the concerned authority of Vilpatty Village for getting appropriate remedy.

4.With the above direction, this Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
