ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to register the judgment and decree passed in O.S.No.21 of 2016 by considering the representation dated 12.09.2024. 1/4

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Siddharthan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents and perused the materials available on record. 3.By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

4.It is the case of the petitioner that he has purchased the subject property vide registered sale deed dated 14.06.2000. There is a dispute with regard to the subject property between the petitioner and one Shanmuasundaram. Hence, the petitioner filed a suit in O.S.No.21 of 2016 before the I Additional District and Sessions Court, Thoothukudi and obtained a decree in his favour. The petitioner approached the second respondent to register the said decree and judgment. He has also made a representation to the second respondent in this regard. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner has not submitted the decree and judgment for registration. If the same is submitted, the respondents are ready to register the same in accordance with law.

6.In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to present the decree and judgment before the second respondent for registration forthwith. On such presentation, the second respondent is directed to register the same in accordance with law.
