passed by the 2nd respondent against the petitioner's son namely, Jestin Stalin, son of T.Charles, aged about 31 years, who is detained under sub section (1) of Section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Cyber law offenders, Drug offenders, Forestoffenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand offenders, Sexualoffenders, Slum-grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 (Tamilnadu Act 14 of 1982) read with orders issued by the Government in G.O.(D)No.90, Home, Prohibition, and Excise (XVI) Department dated 11th April, 2022 under subsection (2) of Section 3 of the aforesaid Act and confined at Tiruchirappalli Central Prison, Tiruchirappalli District before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by R.SURESH KUMAR, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed to quash the detention order of the 2nd respondent in C.No.83/Detention/C.P.O/TC/2022 dated 11.06.2022 and direct the respondents to produce the detenu, Jestin Stalin,

son of T.Charles, aged about 31 years, who is detained at Central Prison, Tiruchirappalli, before this Court and set him at liberty. 2.The detention order, which is impugned herein, is dated 11.06.2022, as such, the detention period of one year is already over and hence, this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
