6480/17 : No appearance COMMON ORDER These writ petitions have been filed for a direction to the fifth respondent to continue the payment of appraiser charges to the appraisers working in State Bank of India Branches (ex-State Bank of Travancore Branches) in terms of the Gazette of India Extraordinary, Part-II, Sec-3(i) dated 22.02.2017, on the basis of Circular No.PSB/27/2016 dated 10th June, 2016, issued by the State Bank of Travancore, Head Office, by considering petitioner's representation dated 18.04.2017.
2.It appears that the Central Government merged the State Bank of Travancore with the State Bank of India and the Head Office of the State Bank of India, is not made as a party in both the writ petitions. Hence, no Mandamus can be issued to these respondents. 3.In view of the above, this Court grants liberty to the petitioner to make appropriate representation to the competent authority to work out their remedy in the manner known to law. 4.Granting such liberty, these Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
