ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner and his family members by considering his representation dated 12.08.2024.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry is pending in current paper and that though the petitioner was directed to appear for enquiry, he has not chosen to appear.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is ready to appear before the third respondent.

4. Recording the submissions made on either side, the third respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner as well as to the private respondent and conduct enquiry and take a decision within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
