ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to publish the petitioner's exam results for the papers
1) 1R1LTAMO1, 2) ER2, 3) IR3, 4) IR4, 5) 3R1, 6) 3R2, 7) 4R1, 8) 4R2, 9) T1I, 10) T12, 11) T21, 12) T2 2, 13) GKL, 14) T3 1, 15) T23 2, 16) T3 3, 17) T3 4, 18) ENS, which was written in the month of November 2018 by considering her representation dated 28.07.2023.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner has joined the course of B.A. (Tamil) in the respondent University through distance education. Exams were conducted in the month of November, 2018 and she has also appeared for the exam. But till date, her exam results have not been published. Even though the petitioner made representation to the respondents on 12.03.2020 with regard to the same, the respondents have not published the results. Exam results of all other candidates have already been published. While the petitioner enquired about the same, the respondents stated that it was kept pending due to administrative reasons and action has to be taken to publish her results within a 2/6
short period. Since the results have not been published till date, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. The learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents submits that exams were conducted in the month of November, 2018, wherein she has appeared for 18 papers and the exam results have already been published, where she has absented for one tamil paper.
4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents.

It is seen that the petitioner's results have not been published in the year 2019 itself and except the administrative reasons, there is no proper reason stated by the authorities for not issuing the same. The respondents made the petitioner to run from pillar to post from the year 2019. Saying administrative reasons for not publishing the results is not accepted by this Court. If the results have been published in the correct time, the petitioner would have completed her degree course by this time.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to appear for the upcoming exams scheduled to be conducted in March, April or May or whichever month the exams are conducted, for which, no fee should be collected from the petitioner. The respondents are directed to publish the exam results of the petitioner and hand over the mark sheet to the petitioner within a period of one week from today.
