PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to issue Patta in respect of the Petitioner's landed property to an extent of 20 Cents comprised in New Survey No.481/24, Old Survey No.481/2 situated at Pattiveeranpatti, Sevugampatti Revenue Village, Nilakkottai Taluk, Dindigul District after rectifying the mistake as to the extent of land in the computerized patta in the name of her father by considering her 1/5

O R D E R

The petitioner has approached the respondents seeking for an issuance of patta in her favour based on a decree and judgment obtained from the Additional District Court, Dindigul in O.S.No.217 of 2021. As per the judgment and decree, the Court has issued a mandatory direction to the official respondents to issue a patta with regard to the suit schedule property. The petitioner with a grievance that his application, dated 19.06.2023 has not been considered has filed this writ petition.

2.Mrs.D.Farjana Ghoushia, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents, on instructions submits that the application was made only on 19.06.2023 and after conducting the enquiry, they would pass orders within a reasonable time.

3.Considering the rival submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader that the respondents are conducting the enquiry on the petitioner's application, this writ petition is closed with a direction to the respondents to conclude the enquiry as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing sufficient opportunity to all the parties concerned.
