ORDER

The present writ petition had been filed by a resident of Surilipatti Panchayat seeking a mandamus to direct the first respondent to initiate appropriate action as against the President of the Panchayat under Section 205 of Tamil Nadu Panchayat Act, 1994 2.The tenure of the fifth respondent has expired on 05.01.2025. Hence, nothing survives to be adjudicated in the present writ petition. Therefore, the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
