Respondents Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to dispose of the representation given by the petitioner dated 13.10.2016 by taking necessary action in appointing the non hereditary trustees of as "Sri Arulmighu Kuttiyandavar, Sri Mariamman Temple situated at Vembaramapatti Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District within the time stipulated by this Court.

Heard Mr.V.Sakthivel, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.V.R.Shanmuganathan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first and second respondents and Mr.Madhavan, learned counsel appearing for the third respondent.

2. The petitioner is a devotee of the petition mentioned temple. He wants the authorities to take action for appointing non https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.6797 of 2017 hereditary trustee for the temple. He has also given a representation dated 13.10.2016.

3. When the matter was taken up for disposal, the learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that action has already been taken and that three persons including the petitioner have been nominated as non hereditary trustees.

4. In view of the above, nothing survives for further consideration in this matter. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
