2. Learned counsel for the second respondent submits that an election notification dated 18.05.2016 was impugned in the writ petition. Such election took place on 11.06.2016 and, in fact, about three subsequent elections also took place. Consequently, he submits that the matter has been rendered infructuous.
3. By taking note of these developments, W.P. (MD) No.10266 of 2016 is dismissed as infructuous without any order as to costs.
