Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner questions the impugned Form III notice on the ground that he was not assigned with the land in question. It is true that the petitioner was granted assignment of land in survey No.80/4. The impugned notice pertains to survey field No.169/1 in Village Vandiyur-I-Bit, Madurai East Taluk.

3. We are satisfied that the survey number governed by the impugned Form III notice is different from the survey number assigned to the petitioner herein. Interference is not warranted. This writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
