This writ petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to grant patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of his property in Survey No.1529/10 measuring 0.00.35 hectares situated in Kallimandhayam Village, Ottanchathiram taluk, Dindigul District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 21.09.2019.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the second respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer will conduct an inquiry and appropriate orders would be passed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.Recording the aforesaid submission, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer to conclude the inquiry proceedings and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the
