This writ petition is listed today under the caption "for dismissal". There is no representation on the side of the petitioner once again. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents is present. Even on the last hearing date i.e. on 06.08.2024, there was no representation on the side of the petitioner.
2. The petitioner was dismissed from service, which has been challenged in this writ petition.
3. According to the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, immediately after joining duty, within few days thereafter, the petitioner did not return to duty. Therefore, on the ground of desertion, the petitioner was dismissed from service. She has also submitted that after a lapse of four years, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. This writ petition is of the year 2017. It can now be inferred that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting this writ petition.
5. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
