This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction 1/3

to the respondents-1 to 4 to grant permission for conducting 'Sri Kootha Perumal Ayyanar temple festival (horse festival) and the consequent drama programme on 12.11.2018 and 16.11.2018 to 21.11.2018 at Aliyanilai, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukottai District based on petitioner's representation, dated 31.10.2018.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous. The statement is recorded.

3. Recording the aforesaid statement, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
