Prayer: This Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to take action against the fifth respondent regarding the misuse of the Vice-president Power and misappropriation of the Kalugarkadai Village Panchayat amount from 24.01.2019 to 05.08.2021 for Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme in 100 days work, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 09.03.2022 & 05.04.2022. The present writ petition had been filed seeking a mandamus to direct the first respondent to initiate action as against the fifth respondent for the alleged misappropriation of the Panchayat funds. 2.According to the learned counsel for the first respondent, the tenure of the private respondent has expired on 05.01.2025. 3.In such circumstances, nothing survives to be adjudicated in the present writ petition.
