O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the second respondent to promote the petitioner as Grade Teacher (Maths) in the existing vacancy in the Thappai Panchayat Union Middle School or in any vacancy in the Pullampadi Union.

2. It is now represented by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that subsequent to the filing of this Writ Petition, the petitioner has been promoted as Grade Teacher (Maths) in the year 2020-2021. However, he would submit that the promotion has not come into effect from the date of her eligibility to be promoted as Grade Teacher (Maths).

3. Since the relief sought for in this Writ Petition has been achieved by the petitioner, this Court deems it fit to dispose of this Writ Petition by granting liberty to the petitioner to give a representation to the second respondent to give effect to the promotion of the petitioner as Grade Teacher (Maths) with effect from 2017 and not with effect from 2020-2021 and on receipt of the said 2/4

representation, the second respondent shall pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
