ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a Mandamus, directing the respondents to confer the award of "Kalaivalarmani" to the petitioner for the year 2015-2016 as per the notification issued by the 3rd respondent herein on 02.09.2016 & 07.09.2016 in accordance with law.

2. When the writ petition was taken up for hearing on 16.06.2023, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the matter was directed to be listed today under the caption "For Dismissal". Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner. 2/4

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader submits that the award of "Kalaivalarmani" has already been conferred to one Sumithra for the year 2015-2016. Therefore, nothing survives in this writ petition.

5. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is closed as no further order is required. No costs.
