Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the Respondents 1 and 2 to give adequate police protection to conduct "Mulaippari Thiruvizha Urchavam" for the Goddess Arulmigu Muthumariyamman Temple situated in 1/5

the petitioner's Village to be conducted by the common villagers from 02.09.2025 to 10.09.2025, which is proposed to conduct without giving "Muthal Mariyathai" to anybody by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 26.06.2025.

ORDER

The Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give adequate police protection to conduct "Mulaippari Thiruvizha Urchavam" for the Goddess Arulmigu Muthumariyamman Temple situated in the petitioner's Village by the common villagers from 02.09.2025 to 10.09.2025, which is proposed to be conducted without giving "Muthal Mariyathai" to anybody by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 26.06.2025.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner's representation was considered and an order was 2/5

passed on 25.08.2025, rejecting the request made by the petitioner on the grounds stated therein. He would further submit that the said order was also communicated to the petitioner.

3. Since the petitioner's representation has already been considered and rejected by the first respondent, the remedy available to the petitioner is to challenge the said communication in the manner known to law.

4. With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
