PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 01.03.2018 and 17.07.2018 and to correctly enter and furnish the correct land patta in favour of the petitioner, duly mentioning the survey number of petitioner's land as Survey Nos.266/23B and 266/23C instead of showing Survey No.266/23C alone, which has been entered in their records erroneously.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 01.03.2018 and 17.07.2018 and to issue patta in favour of the petitioner, duly mentioning the survey number of petitioner's land as Survey Nos.266/23B and 266/23C instead of showing Survey No.266/23C alone, which has been entered in their records erroneously. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner made representations 01.03.2018 and 17.07.2018 for issuing fresh patta. But, so far no steps has been taken. Hence, the petitioner filed this present writ petition. 3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the third https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No. 18088 of 2018 respondent/ The Thasildar, Natham Taluk Office, has communicated the letter dated 28.09.2020, wherein it has been stated that the said mistake, which was committed in the record was rectified and in continuation to the same, appropriate instructions have been issued on 22.10.2018, to the Sub Registrar, Natham to carry out the said mistake in the patta. Hence, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has now become infructuous.

4.Recording the said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
