O R D E R
This writ petition is filed for a direction to the first respondent to pass order on the proposal sent by the second respondent vide Na.Ka.No.14561/Aa6/2012, dated 05.12.2013. 2.The case of the petitioner is that the fourth respondent has 1/3
appointed the petitioner as Vocational Instructor, in Sourashtra Higher Secondary School, Madurai, vide order dated 16.10.1996 under consolidated pay. Though the petitioner's appointment was approved by the third respondent on 20.11.2003 and also completed the probationary period of two years, his service was not regularized. Thereafter, the fourth respondent sent a proposal to the second respondent for regularizing the petitioner's service. Subsequent to which, the second respondent also sent a proposal, dated 05.01.2013 to the first respondent, who is the competent authority to declare probation and grant Selection Grade. So far, no order has been passed. Hence, the present writ petition is filed. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the first respondent to pass appropriate orders on the proposal sent by the second respondent, dated 05.01.2013, within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 has no serious objection.
5.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court directs the first respondent to pass appropriate orders on the proposal sent by the second respondent, dated 05.01.2013, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
