ORDER

The petitioner has submitted an application dated 24.06.2023 to the respondents seeking gun license that he is apprehending danger to his life at the hands of his brother. Since the said application has not been considered, he has filed this writ petition.

2. Mr.P.Kottaichamy, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) who takes notice for respondents 2 and 3, on instructions, submits that there is no threat or danger to the life of the petitioner and therefore, there is no necessity for gun license, however, the petitioner, on apprehension, submitted the application for gun license.

3. Ms.D.Farjana Ghoushia, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the first respondent, on written instructions, submits that the petitioner has not submitted any application in the due 2/4

format. She further submits that if any application is filed in the due format, it would be considered in accordance with law.

4. Recording the said submission, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
