ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to appoint the petitioner to the post of Lab Assistant based on her written examination marks as well as weightage marks scored under the Scheduled Caste quota with all monetary benefits.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the writ petition is filed in the year 2017 on the ground that the selection process adopted by the respondents is not in accordance with the reservation policy, however, the petitioner filed the writ petition seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to call the petitioner for certificate verification to the post of Lab Assistant based on the written examination and subsequently, the petitioner obtained the selection list of candidates, who were selected contrary to the reservation policy and hence, he would pray that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD)No.7189 of 2017 petitioner may be permitted to file a fresh writ petition by impleading the selected candidates and challenging the selection process of the respondents.

3. In view of the limited prayer as now sought for by the learned Counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the petitioner's case, this Writ Petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh writ petition. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
