ORDER
The petitioner is an Association of All Textiles and Readymade Sellers of Karaikudi. The grievance of the petitioner is that they are running business by complying with all the requirements as per the law.
During the festive seasons, some persons without any authority hire the marriage halls, establish temporary shops therein and do their business. Because of such temporary shops, the permanent shopkeepers are affected and their business is affected. Though they have submitted representation to the respondent Corporation, it has not 2/5
taken any action on their representation. Therefore, the petitioner has approached this Court with the above prayer. 2.The learned Counsel appearing for the 5th respondent Municipal Corporation submits that if the petitioner makes a representation with specific details regarding the temporary shops put up in the marriage halls, necessary action would be taken by the Municipal Corporation. 3.Recording the above submission of the learned Counsel for the 5th respondent, this writ petition is closed. No cost. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
