ORDER

The petitioner, who is the defacto complainant in Crime No.13 of 2024, has filed this petition seeking to transfer the investigation in Crime No.13 of 2024 from the file of the 2nd respondent to some other investigation 1/4

agency.

2. In this case, the nature of offence is of cyber crime. The respondent Police claims that they have secured two persons and also frozen six bank accounts. The Cyber Crime is the competent authority to investigate into the nature of this offence. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition seeking transfer of investigation in Crime No.13 of 2024.

3. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, considering the averments made by the petitioner, the Additional Superintendent of Police, Cyber Crime, Karur District, is directed to monitor the investigation in Crime No.13 of 2024. 21.08.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet:Yes ogy 2/4
