ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondent to investigate and to file the final report in Crime No.10 of 2020 on the file of the respondent within a time frame. 1/4

2.In pursuance to the directions of this Court, Mr.K.S.Anbuchelvan, Inspector of Police, CCB, Trichy and Mr.R.John Kennedy, Assistant Commissioner of Police, CCB, Trichy City are present before this Court.

3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side), on instructions, would submit that after issuance of directions by this Court on 11.08.2022, the present case has been transferred to the Inspector of Police, Serious Crime Squad, Trichy City on 22.08.2022 by the Commissioner of Police, Trichy City and that subsequently, the Serious Crime Squad was merged with the City Crime Branch, Tricy and the case was again sent back to CCB and the present Inspector of Police had taken the charge on 29.08.2024. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side), on instructions, would further submit that they will complete the investigation and file the final report, within one month. 4.Recording the same, the respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Cr.No.10 of 2020 and file the final report, within a 2/4

period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the Assistant Commissioner of Police, CCB, Trichy is directed to monitor the same.

5.With the above directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
