ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 498(A) I.P.C., and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act in Crime No. Not known of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the matter has already settled between the parties out of the Court, by which, portion of the amount i.e., a sum of Rs.5,50,000/- was received by the defacto complainant on 18.08.2022 and the balance amount of Rs.1,00,000/- will be paid at the time of filing consent divorce petition and remaining amount of Rs.50,000/- will be paid at the time of granting divorce and he has also filed a copy of the settlement arrived between the parties.

4. In view of the fact that the matter has been settled between the parties out of the Court, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
