ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to direct the second respondent to grant Patta to the petitioner, based on his sale deed, for his land, which is situated in Natham Survey No.889/1 and its extent of 7 cents, 0.03.0 Ares, 3052 sq.fts. of Karaiyur Village, Ponnamaravathy Taluk, Pudukkottai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 28.08.2018.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that the land in question is classified as Natham land and therefore, Patta cannot be granted to the petitioner. 2/5

3. Having considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents, I am inclined to dispose this Writ Petition, by directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 28.08.2018, as expeditiously as possible, and dispose the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from today.
