ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 of BNSS, seeking orders, to direct the respondent Police to expedite 1/4

the investigation in Crime No.36 of 2024, dated 01.02.2024 and to file the final report within stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.36 of 2024, dated 01.02.2024 as accidental fire. He would further submit that they have examined seven witnesses and awaiting for chemical analysis report. Hence, he seeks one month time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.36 of 2024 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
