ORDER
The Writ Petition is directed against the order dated 17.09.2024 passed by the second respondent and for direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to grant permission for conducting the Volley Ball Competition on 20.09.2024 and 21.09.2024 from 08.00 p.m. to 06.00 a.m. at near Kajimar Street Pallivasal, Madurai and provide adequate police protection.
2. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit 2/6
that the requisition of the writ petitioner came to be rejected vide order dated 17.09.2024 mainly on the ground that the writ petitioner sought for permission to conduct the tournament in the road. He would further submit that the writ petitioner has sought for permission to conduct the tournament from 20.09.2024 at 08.00 p.m. to 21.09.2024 at 06.00 a.m. and that they may be directed to conduct the tournament only during day time.

At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner would submit that the writ petitioner has decided to change the venue to Kazi Tajuddin Industrial Training Institute, Kajimar Street, Madurai and that they are ready to conduct the tournament during day time and they will complete the same by 10.00 p.m.
5. I have considered the submission of the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
6. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the Director General 3/6
of Police, Tamil Nadu, Chennai had issued a circular memorandum in Rc.007301/Genl.I (1)/2019 dated 09.04.2019 along with instructions to the Inspectors of Police throughout Tamil Nadu for consideration of applications seeking permission for conducting programme. Therefore, in view of the detailed circular and guidelines issued by the Director General of Police, the writ petitioner is directed to give afresh representation incorporating the timings and venue of the volley ball tournament before the third respondent and on such representation, the third respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders today itself based on the above said circular, if necessary by imposing necessary conditions.
7. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
