PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents particularly the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.02.2017 and register the 1/5

revocation of Settlement Deed without insisting the petitioner to obtain the signature of the Settlee in the revocation of Settlement Deed to cancel the conditional registered Settlement Deed dated 29.10.2004 vide Document No.3071/2004 on the file of the third respondent.

The petitioner has settled her property in Old Door No. 25F, New Door No.39, Plot No.38, Ganesapuram 1st Street, Kosakulam, K.Pudur, Madurai in favour of her daughter by way of a registered Document No.3071 of 2004, dated 29.10.2004. Thereafter, she approached the respondents to cancel the above document unilaterally. The respondents have refused to cancel the document. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this writ petition to direct the third respondent to consider her representation for revocation of her submission dated 07.02.2017. 2/5

2.Today(14.06.2023), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits pending this writ petition, the petitioner died and he is not in a position to get proper details with regard to the legal heirs of the petitioner.

3. Recording the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner died and he could not contact the legal heirs of the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. 14.06.2023 NCC : Yes / No.
